We provide Disaster Recovery Planning services based upon two important premises:
  1. The assignments are based upon the evaluation of business risk; and
  2. Technology is an enabler, rather than an end in itself.
Our approach is based upon ISO27005 and ISO31000 procedures using specialised tools written expressly for this purpose. With key business stakeholders, we undertake a Business Impact Analysis to identify the key risks and their financial, technical and procedural impact on the organisation.

The identified risks are evaluated and, with the key business stakeholders, the appropriate analysis of the risks is agreed. Mitigation and other strategies are identified and tested.

In our experience, full cycle testing is the only guaranteed method of determining the suitability of the selected mitigation or restoration procedures. Component testing identifies the suitability of the individual parts of a recovery strategy. However, failing over and back again is the only true test of a solution.
