Milton Baar, Cybersecurity Director, is teaching at La Trobe University as a Visiting Academic for 2017/2018. In this capacity, Milton will be creating and lecturing the following courses for the School of Engineering & Mathematical Sciences:
CSE5CFN Computer Forensics. This subject introduces the procedures related to digital forensic and investigation in a computer and a networking scenario. Students will develop an understanding of the key concepts associated with the data hiding, evidence collection and validation and traffic analysis required to perform forensic analysis in a digital environment. Students will learn about the importance of the legal considerations and documentation of forensic evidence. This subject will incorporate tutorials to teach practical forensic tools.
